Mississippi proposes trout fishing closure January through March

Mississippi speckled trout anglers will have to make alternate plans during the first months of 2017, if a proposal by the state’s Commission of Marine Resources today is approved.

The agency announced it's intent to implement a three-month closure of recreational trout fishing in state waters from Jan. 1 through March 31.
