Elias to be inducted into Bass Fishing Hall of Fame

Former Bassmaster Classic champion Paul Elias is one of four being inducted into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame during a banquet to be held next Friday (Feb. 24) in conjunction with the 2012 Bassmaster Classic in Shreveport.

Winter Quarters, a 10,000-acre hunting club situated inside the Mississippi River levee in Tensas Parish, has a rule hunters follow to determine if a buck is mature enough to take: The animal has to have main beams measuring at least 20 inches.
