This Springfield Model 1884 U.S. Military Trapdoor rifle, chambered in .45-70 Government, is remarkably well-preserved for its age. The firearm retains its original blueing and remains entirely unaltered. The wood stock is in excellent condition, and the bore is also well-maintained, accompanied by its original cleaning rod. A non-original leather sling has been added. The photographs accurately depict the rifle’s condition.
