Louisiana’s oldest and largest fishing and hunting show is back! And the timing couldn’t be better!
Mark your calendars for June 17-19, 2022, when the 42nd annual Louisiana Sportsman Show & Festival will be held at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales. It’s Father’s Day weekend and what better way to celebrate than to bring Dad to check out all the latest in outdoor gear and adventures.
“It’s so good to be back having the show after having to miss the past two years because of the pandemic and supply chain issues,” said Lisa Cuccia, President of Louisiana Publishing. “We’ve had a great response from vendors, who tell us supplies of the newest sporting goods, boats, ATVs and other outdoor items have picked back up. We look forward to seeing you there. It’s time to get back out there with the family and celebrate our great Louisiana outdoors!”
More details and features of the show will be announced nearer to the three-day event’s actual dates. This year’s show is sponsored by Shell. Don’t be confused by other shows. This is the one-and-only Louisiana Sportsman Show.
The show will be open from noon-7 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission will remain the same as in the past. Tickets will be $12 for adults, $6 for kids ages 5-12 and kids under five are admitted free.
There are numerous hotels in the area and two RV lots onsite at the Expo Center for those wanting to make a weekend of it. For more information about the show and vendor information, call 1-866-238-5639 or email showservices@louisianasportsmanshow.com.
