LWFC approves resolution to add 560 acres to Richard K. Yancey WMA

The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission (LWFC) approved a resolution to add 560 acres to the Richard K. Yancey Wildlife Management Area (WMA) during its February meeting Thursday, Feb. 2, in Baton Rouge.

The land is located in Concordia Parish and was leased to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) by the Concordia Parish School Board.

Richard K. Yancey WMA will now encompass more than 71,431 acres with the addition of this land.
