Road construction will begin Aug. 16, weather permitting, on a portion of Spring Bayou Road from Don Bernard Road to the Spring Bayou Boat Ramp Road on and approaching the Spring Bayou Wildlife Management Area (WMA), the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) and Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced.
Alternating lane closures should be expected during construction of the 2.1 mile project. Construction is expected to be completed by November.
