NOI adopted for duck blinds on Saline Lake and Northwest Louisiana Game and Fish Preserves

Comments will be accepted through Nov. 4, LDWF says

The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission adopted a Notice of Intent (NOI) at its August meeting that would establish regulations for duck blinds on Saline Lake and Northwest Louisiana Game and Fish Preserves.

Regulations cover blind placement and construction dates, as well as decoy usage, when decoys have to be picked up after the season ends and more.

If it’s adopted, it would allow commissions established for each preserve to administer regulations relative to waterfowl blind use.

Comments on the details of the NOI will be accepted through Nov. 4, and can be sent to Steve Smith, Wildlife Management Area Program Manager, P.O. Box 98000, Baton Rouge, LA  70898-9000. To email your comments, click here.
