Browning introduces new A5 shotgun series for 2013

First ever recoil-operated 3½-inch Browning 12 gauge

Browning has introduced its first ever recoil-operated A5 shotgun series with a 3½-inch chamber. The recoil-operated Kinematic Drive system allows the A5 to cycle a wide range of loads. It features the Vector-Pro lengthened forcing cone and the new Invector-DS choke tube system to deliver tight, consistent shot patterns. And to reduce felt recoil, the A5 comes with an Inflex II recoil pad.

A5 3½-inch models are available with barrel lengths of 26 inches, 28 inches and 30 inches. Composite-stock models feature Dura-Touch Armor Coating that gives shooters a better grip in wet hunting conditions.

Five models will be available: A5 in Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Blades, A5 in Realtree Max-4, A5 in Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity, A5 Stalker and A5 Hunter. The Hunter features a gloss finish walnut stock.

Suggested retail price will be $1,699.99, except for the Stalker model, which will sell for $1,599.99.
