Hunting dates, length of season to be discussed, LDWF says.
Turkey-hunting regulations for 2012 will be the focus of a public meeting set for Aug. 30 in Jonesboro, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries announced.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Charles H. Garrett Community Center, and discussions will include hunting dates and the length of the 2012 turkey season, the LDWF said.
Hunters are encouraged to attend to provide input.
