Nikon optics for Grand Prize winner; Sportsman swag awarded monthly
The 2016-17 Nikon Big Buck Contest kicked off Saturday, offering a great opportunity to brag about your kill while also competing for monthly and grand prizes.
The free contest runs through the end of the 2016-17 hunting season, and one entry will be chosen each month to receive $25 gift coupons to the online Sportsman Store and free one-year Louisiana Sportsman subscriptions.
In addition, one lucky entrant will be chosen through a random drawing at the end of the contest to receive great Nikon optics.
There will be four monthly contest periods: October (deer killed in the early September season can be entered in the first period), November, December and January/February. The grand prize will be awarded following the close of deer season.
But remember: This is a photo contest, so LouisianaSportsman.com administrators will be looking for the best photographs.
So take some time to think about how you will show off your big buck — an image of a blood-soaked monster buck hanging from the cleaning rack is not very likely to win.
And don’t forget to upload the hi-res version of the image so it can potentially be printed in the magazine.
