Old Highway 11 reopened on Pearl River WMA, LDWF says

But Indian Bayou, Oil Well and Po-Boy Roads will remain closed until water levels recede

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has reopened  Old Highway 11 on Pearl River Wildlife Management Area in St. Tammany Parish.

According to a press release, the highway was closed on April 11 when the Pearl River reached 16.5 feet.

The river stage has fallen and is forecast to continue falling, the release states.

However, Indian Bayou, Oil Well and Po-Boy Roads will remain closed until water levels recede further, the roads have time to dry and any necessary repairs are made.
