Louisiana Sportsman TV is taking a vacation until 2013, when the show will return with an enhanced lineup.
The show has aired weekly on Cox Sports since 2007.
The break will provide the television show’s staff time to plan the new season.
To date, Louisiana Sportsman TV has primarily been a coastal show, highlighting the incredible fishing found at some of North America’s premier fishing locales.
While saltwater fishing will remain a regular feature when the show resumes, the format will be broadened to cover other outdoor opportunities across the state.
“We are making some changes so the television show better reflects Louisiana Sportsman magazine, with content that will cover the broad spectrum of fishing and hunting our many fans have grown to expect,” the company’s Tony Taylor said. “Many of our viewers have asked for a wider range of topics, and this will allow us to meet those demands.
During the break in airing, LouisianaSportsmanTV.com will continue to provide access to the entire archive of the show.
