The Boat Show in New Orleans kicks off today!

Best prices on new boats, accessories will be at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The floor of the Superdome will be filled with boats and all the necessary accessories beginning Feb. 2 at 3 p.m., when The Boat Show in New Orleans kicks off. The show will continue through Saturday.

“We’re looking forward to bringing the public the best boat show ever held in New Orleans,” the show’s organizer Lionel Dowling said.The show will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, and covered parking is available adjacent to the facility.

The Boat Show in New Orleans provides one-stop shopping at 75 exhibitors for anyone looking to buy a new boat or accessories.

The show, presented by Mercury Marine, will include most of the boat dealers from Southeast Louisiana – but that’s not all! Also represented at the show will be companies offering boat insurance, electronics, sunglasses, boat lifts and many other accessories.

Shop the many dealers under one roof during the New Orleans Boat Show – and the wet weather forecasted for the weekend isn’t a concern because there is convenient covered parking adjacent to the Superdome!

And the show, also brought to you by Southbay Pontoons, is perfect for the family: Liz Choate from “The Swamp People” will be on hand to sign autographs and take photos.

These local celebrities will be at the show tomorrow and Friday.

The entire perimeter of the Superdome will be set up with booths designed to create a carnival-type atmosphere with many attractions for all ages.

Admission is just $8, with children younger than 12 admitted for free.

“We want the family to come out and have a good time,” Dowling said. “That’s why we don’t charge an entrance fee to kids under 12 years of age.

“We want people to come out and have a good time.”

Show hours are:

• Thursday, Feb. 2 – 3-9 p.m.
• Friday, Feb. 3 – 2-10 p.m.
• Saturday, Feb. 4 – 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
