LDWF moves forward on establishing recreational and commercial tripletail limits

Proposes a recreational five-fish daily limit with 18-inch length requirement

The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission recently approved a Notice of Intent to establish recreational and commercial regulations for the harvest of tripletail, according to a press release.

The proposed regulations would establish a recreational bag limit of five fish per day along with a minimum total length of 18 inches.

Proposed commercial regulations would include the 18-inch requirement and establish a 100-pound trip limit, with no more than one trip per day.
