Several captains to share angling info on speckled trout, reds
If you’re wondering when this year’s ‘World Series’ speckled trout run will crank up on Lake Pontchartrain — or if you have any other fall fishing questions — you can probably get them answered this Tuesday evening from an impressive panel of captains at the CCA Metro New Orleans Fall Fishing Seminar.
The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. at Bryan Chevrolet, located at 8213 Airline Drive in Metairie. The program will begin at 6 p.m.
Guest speakers include Capt. CT Williams, Capt. Sam Barbera, Capt. Mike Gallo, Capt. Ahab Broaddus, Capt. Dudley Vandenborre, Capt. Craig Matherne, Capt. Greg Schlumbrecht and Allen “Chink” Sumas.
You don’t have to be a CCA member to attend, but all attendees are asked to donate $5 at the door to cover the cost of jambalaya and refreshments. Ladies and kids are free.
