Lake D’Arbonne crappie limit cut in half

Daily bag limit for sac-a-lait set dropped from 50 to 25, LDWF says.

The daily bag limit on crappie has been changed for anglers fishing D’Arbonne Lake in Union Parish, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries announced today (Nov. 29).Each angler is now limited to 25 crappie, the LDWF said.

The change from 50 to 25 fish was approved by the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission in response to concerns of overfishing that some anglers had expressed.
