CCA Louisiana taps Isaacson as AD for New Orleans metro

Former Fox 8 reporter to work with seven chapters in the region

Leigh Isaacson has joined the Coastal Conservation Association of Louisiana as an assistant director for the Greater New Orleans area, according to a press release.

Isaacson, who most recently worked as a reporter for WVUE Fox 8 in New Orleans, will work with seven chapters in the area on communications, membership growth, advocacy and fundraising.

“We are very excited to have Leigh join the CCA team,” David Cresson, CCA Louisiana‘s executive director, said.  “As we continue to grow and expand our efforts throughout the state, Leigh’s addition to our staff will allow us to better serve our members.  Her unique set of experiences and talents will help us further our mission of conserving Louisiana’s marine resources.”

Isaacson will work directly with the Bayou Lafourche, Delta, East Jefferson, Plaquemines, River Parishes, Slidell and Westbank chapters.

“CCA Louisiana is a vibrant and growing organization committed to conserving Louisiana’s world renowned fishing and coastal resources,” Isaacson said.  “I look forward to working closely with the New Orleans area chapters to promote increased membership, educate the public and advance conservation projects in the region.”
