Some anglers swear the best way to catch a female bass off a bed is snatch the male into the boat and store it in the livewell. Craig Graham doesn’t subscribe to that theory.
“I don’t believe in pulling the buck bass out,” Graham said. “I’ll just aggravate the male, and the female will come in to see what he’s doing.”
In other words, he uses the buck as a lure.
“She’s the alpha female, and when she sees something going on, she’ll come in to check it out.
“She’ll ease in there, and when you get her to come in you can cast to her and start aggravating her.”
