Fishes for largemouth bass in Miller’s Lake in Cameron Parish
Sportsman TV host Greg Hackney picked a great spot to test out some of Strike King’s new bass lures — Miller’s Lake at Grosse Savanne Waterfowl and Wildlife Lodge in Cameron Parish.
Hackney puts a variety of lures through their paces in tonight’s brand new episode of Sportsman TV, ‘Grosse Basse,’ airing at 6:30 on Cox Sports Television.
Miller’s Lake is a 484-acre bass fisherman’s dream, featuring 7 miles of canals and trails through the marsh flats.
Hackney and Sportsman TV producer Jared Serigné were hosted by Grosse Savanne’s Doug Miller and Karl Zimmermann, and Hackney put a hurtin’ on the bass in preparation for the start of the 2014 Bassmaster Elite Series.
And while he was there, he accepted delivery of his very own Xpress boat from Rory Hendron and Clay Connor, so despite foggy conditions early, Hackney had a great day on the water.
Sportsman TV airs on Cox Sports Television every Thursday night at 6:30, as well as Saturday mornings at 8:30 and Sunday mornings at 9.
