Flipping and pitching can be hard on reels, namely the drag, handle and gears. Ardent has teamed up with flipping and pitching legend Denny Brauer to release the newest Ardent reel, the Apex Flipping reel.
The Apex is built tank tough but is also lightweight at 5.9 ounces. It has a carbon fiber handle, a 10+1 ball bearing system and a 6.5:1 gear ratio. Also, no bass will be able to stand up to the 11 pounds of drag the Apex can put on them.
