We are so fortunate to have the triangle intersection of the ICWW and the MRGO. This is an industrial habitat created by deep channels and concrete structures, which makes it ideal wintertime fishing. This is an area that is fishable in any weather due to the high banks and walls and the water clarity is generally beautiful.
However, in years with high Mississippi River water flow, this area becomes too fresh for good trout fishing. Fortunately, high river water is not plaguing us in 2023 and consequently the speckled trout fishing is excellent right now.
