On Nov. 16, 2021, 8-year-old Turner Thompson of Bluff Creek used his brother’s crossbow to take his first deer with a bow. They hunted together for two days and finally bagged one after letting a few walk hoping to get a good shot he felt confident taking. And it paid off. With his brother Ty behind the cameras, they got it done together and made some great memories. His dog, Briar, their little sister, Bristol, and their mama helped them make the 43 yard recovery.
