Tanner Landry, an LSU freshmen, spent most of his fall break in the deer stand. He hunted Christmas through the weekend at his hunting club in Pearl River, La. The last morning hunt it happened. In a matter of minutest he spotted a big doe. He dropped her in her tracks. Knowing the bucks are starting to chase, he stayed in the stand a little longer. Sure enough, an 8-point came out and he successfully harvested a double for the first time! The doe was 120 pounds and the 8-point was 115 pounds.
