Riley Robinson, a 19-year-old sophomore at Louisiana Tech University, hurried home from finals week during the recent cold front to catch a chance at this great buck. She knew this was one of the few chances at this massive palmated horned buck she may get this quarter. The buck came out before the evening sun set and came in quickly after several doe were grazing just right off of a cutover. She knew she needed to act quickly as the buck was walking in. She squeezed the trigger on this 200-pound, 11-point beast and stole the prize for her biggest buck to date.
