Patience pays off for East Feliciana youth

9 year old, Charlie Morgan, killed his first deer, an 8 pt. buck behind his house in Jackson, LA. Charlie has been deer hunting for 2 years behind his house on an old family farm that has been passed down to his Dad. Charlie has patiently passed on multiple 6 pts, spikes, and does while waiting on one of the many big bucks on camera. After passing on 2 young bucks with his Mom one evening, the family decided it was time for Charlie to shoot the next legal deer if the opportunity arose. On 12/7/2020, along with his Dad and little brother Hank in the stand, Charlie not only killed a deer but one of the fine 8 pts. he had been seeing on the camera. Dad, Mom, and Hank are so proud that his patience paid off with a new wall hanger!
