Kannon Kogel, 6, got his first deer on Nov. 26 at his family’s hunting lease in Whiskey Bay. He used the same .243 rifle his dad used when he was a kid. His parents were both in the stand that afternoon and it was one of the best days of their lives to see him so happy to drop the 7-point buck in his tracks.
