Juniper Stewart, 8, got her first alligator, a 5 1/2 footer, in the Grande River in Bayou Pigeon back in mid-September.
“We pulled up to the line and saw it was down but then saw that the gator was on the bank as opposed to in the water like they usually are. I figured this was the perfect chance for her to get a crack at it. She lined up the sight on its head and shot. One shot is all it took. Proud swamp girl and proud dad!”
