Ten-year old William Haddox of Baton Rouge got a brand new Weatherby 7mm-08 rifle for Christmas and it didn’t take him long to put it to good use. William started off the year right with his first deer — a mature seven-pointer killed on New Year’s Day morning in Tensas Parish with his Dad.
Kinny Haddox has been writing magazine and newspaper articles about the outdoors in Louisiana for 45 years. He publishes a daily website, lakedarbonnelife.com and is a member of the Louisiana Chapter of the Outdoor Legends Hall of Fame. He and his wife, DiAnne, live in West Monroe.
