Forgotten boots lead to 8-point down in Tangipahoa Parish

My son John had his heart set on where he wanted to hunt, but he forgot his boots at home so instead he chose this high ground stand to keep his feet dry…..good thing he forgot those boots! He took this nice 192 pound 8-point from central Tangipohoa Parish at about 40 yards with a 180 grain .30-06 on Wednesday, Dec. 2nd, 2020 at 4:20 pm.
