Easton Hatcher killed his first deer, a 4-point buck, on Oct. 26 on a hunt with his father, Kyle Hatcher, on private property in West Feliciana Parish. Easton had been sitting in the stand watching his sister Ella shoot the last few years but was finally big enough to get behind the gun himself.
