“In this picture you will see my late father, Gary Peveto, on the left and his very best friend and preacher, Brother Louis Slaughter, on the right, with Brother Louis’s precious best friend, his dog Molly. Molly loved to hunt and fish with Brother Louis. My dad Gary Peveto loved to hunt and fish but having only one leg and lung cancer he couldn’t do it as much as he wanted. On this day, Mr. Louis made sure my dad got to enjoy the beautiful lake. I took this picture standing behind them and they had no idea. This has since became my most treasurable picture. This picture was taken in March of 2023 at Lanan Boat Launch on Toledo Bend. My dad Gary and Molly have since passed since this picture.”
