Kevin McClary set out from his kayak right before sunrise out of PAC kayak rental on November 21st in search for a consistent trout bite. Tied on with a Matrix Mullet in purple rain color, the mission was to find moving water draining from the marsh. Arriving to the first preplanned location, the first few casts resulted in blow up after blow up, eventually landing a Hammer 20inch speckled trout! After the sun came out and the top water bite died down, the new Matrix XShad became the hot bait. With social distancing measures and businesses closed, now has never been a better time to get on a kayak and catch plenty of fish for dinner!
