Wade Fellin from Butte, Montana, was fly fishing out of Venice on Oct. 26, 2022 with his wife, Dr. Madeline Fellin DVM, and Journey South Outfitters when he caught this redfish. Madeline has fished Louisiana several times before with her parents, but this was Wade’s first trip. He will definitely be back! Wade is the owner of Big Hole River Lodge, an elite trout fly-fishing lodge. He is now hooked on fly fishing for bull reds!
