Jeff Acreman and son, Bryce Acreman, of Monroe made a quick afternoon trip to Poverty Point Reservoir in Delhi. The crappie bite was on fire from 5 p.m. until sunset. Eleven of the fish caught were between 1.9 to 2.5 pounds. The picture shows eight of the largest of the day! All caught on hand tied hair jigs, with no live bait!
