Ethan Emonet, 11, and Joseph Bourgeois, 11, both 6th graders at St. George Catholic School in Baton Rouge, wanted to get on the water before studies and sports take over. They fished in the Venice/Pass A Loutre area on Saturday with little success, then on Sunday, Aug. 8, near South Pass just east of the Port Eads Lighthouse they hit the redfish and had a blast with their dads, Mark Emonet and Ray Bourgeois.
