Eight-year-old Liam Perez of St. Bernard caught his first pompano on Perdido Key Beach, Fla. He was on a family vacation with his parents, uncles, aunts, cousins, grandparents and great grandparents in the first week of May. He caught the only pompano of the trip, on his second cast of the first morning.
