Garrett Taylor caught this 5.15-pound bass one early morning at the Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge. Taylor said the reserve is still producing healthy bass, but the heat makes it hard to really boat a limit this time of year. This one was released for another day, then Taylor went found some nice perch and a decent bass to fry up!
