Gabriel Andrus, 9, landed his personal best red drum on May 19, 2024. The bull red was caught on a Gulp swim mullet under a popping cork at Marsh Island. The fish measured 42 inches long and weighed a whopping 30 pounds, which is why he needed his dad’s help to hold it up for a photo. It was tagged and released to be caught another day.
