Freddie Lake caught this beautiful red snapper 15 miles south of Port Fourchon in approximately 200’ of open water around 9 a.m. on July 23 with Epic Fishing Charters.
“We caught our 10 snapper limit within an hour of arriving to the spot. We were using live hard tails as bait that were caught near the 3-mile rigs. Dropped straight to the bottom and had bites immediately. Weather conditions were calm with scattered showers.”
