On Nov. 16, 2025, 7-year-old Elijah got this 22-inch redfish, his first, on live shrimp via a popping cork. They launched out of Bait Inc in Bayou Bienvenue and fished the great wall to catch some speckled trout. After the bite died down, they made it to Star Bayou Mound in Lake Borgne and caught the redfish.
