Chelseigh Williams, 9, from Sabine Parish reeled in an incredible 37.5-pound blue catfish on Aug. 1 using a rod and reel while fishing in approximately 30 feet of water in the river channel on Toledo Bend.
She made this catch while fishing in honor of Carter Malmay at the 1st Carter Malmay Reel Memories Tournament held at San Miguel on Toledo Bend.
What an incredible catch for an even more meaningful cause!
