“What started out as a slow Fourth of July ended the day with a bang. The Sunday before we caught almost a 3-person limit so we went back on the 4th of July for more. The first spot we went to was not providing like it was on Sunday so we drove around the marsh fishing here and there. Went back to Grand Isle Marina to get another game plan together and headed back out around 10:30, fished a few beaches on a few islands then around 12:30 we found some birds out in Barataria Bay and we were catching 15-18 inch trout every cast. The key for this trip was finding that clear blue green water and finding diving birds.”
