Events set for May 14-15 out of Lafitte Harbor Marina
The first Louisiana Division events of the 2016 IFA Redfish Tour will be held May 14-15 out of Lafitte Harbor Marina in Lafitte.
Anglers competing in the IFA Redfish Tour will launch at safe light on Saturday, May 14 and return to the marina (which is located at 4932 Kenal Road in Lafitte) for weigh-in. Check-in times will be assigned at Friday’s captain’s meeting.
Competitors in the IFA Kayak Fishing Tour will launch Sunday, May 15, from the location of their choice and return to the marina for weigh-in, with check-in times announced at Saturday’s captain’s meetings.
In addition to nearly 200 percent payback, every regular-season IFA Redfish Tour event guarantees a new, fully-rigged Ranger boat powered by a Yamaha outboard valued at $25,995 for first place. Each IFA Kayak Fishing Tour event will feature a $1,500 cash prize for the winning angler.
