Chris Lane jumps to top of Classic leaderboard

Florida’s Chris Lane abandoned the area he fished on the first day of the 2012 Bassmaster Classic, locked down one pool and proceeded to put together a 19-pound, 4-ounce stringer that boosted him into the top spot going into the final day of championship competition.

Elias to be inducted into Bass Fishing Hall of Fame

Former Bassmaster Classic champion Paul Elias is one of four being inducted into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame during a banquet to be held next Friday (Feb. 24) in conjunction with the 2012 Bassmaster Classic in Shreveport.

Final Classic day a go; no fog in sight

The final day of the 2011 Bassmaster Classic is set to begin on schedule, a departure from the past two days that were delayed due to dense fog at the launch site of Bayou Segnette State Park.
