  • Bussey Brake delivers
    Lane Martin of Paulina, a frequent visitor to Bussey Brake, has invested a great deal of time in learning how to catch bass there.
  • Lake Pelto Sulphur Mine is still a top spot
    Capt. Tommy Pellegrin, who owns Custom Charters LLC, said his go-to place to fish in April is the Sulphur Mine in Lake Pelto.
  • Spring is special at Toledo Bend
    If it’s a warm spring, the spawn won’t drag out as long at Toledo Bend. Otherwise, more cool spells will keep the bass spawn going.
