Four-year-old Brodie Matthew Trahan was fishing at a pond in Little Chenier with his Pawpaw Keith Trahan. Brodie was using live worms for bait and cast his line into the water. He hooked and was reeling in a bluegill perch when this bass swallowed the perch still hooked on the line and Brodie reeled in both fish. The perch was small but the bass was 3 pounds. It was a catch and release with a great story to tell.
