Portable generator
Champion model 100231. This generator has been converted to natural gas with a Century Fuel Products conversion kit ($170 value, if they are even available). No gasoline has ever been run through it! Runs smooth with approx 170hrs at 5 years. It can be converted back (I have the parts) in its natural state on gas or propane. I can do that for you. To get natural gas to it you would need to have a plumber install a valve like the one shown. I have approx 17’ of the flexible Pro Flex Flak Jacket fuel line and couplings ($200 at the time…and likely more expensive now). I also installed an oil drain extension tube to make draining easier. If you get an electrician to install a 30amp plug to your external service disconnect, you can connect the generator to your panel using the 25’ heavy duty cord I am selling along with the generator. But, you dont have to. You can still use extension cords. We used it not long ago to run two window units, kitchen fridge/freezer, box fan, and two small (5 cub ft) chest freezers with no problem. All going together brand new would be approximately $1500. Dont wait for hurricane season. We lose power with just a typical thunderstorm. Call (dont text) Shawn at 225-315-8809.
