Hollis Miles and his son Christopher Miles got two bucks on Jan. 17, Hollis’ 60th birthday, at Supreme Hunting Club.
“We were on a dog hunt in Lafourche Parish and I brought my dad as a guest. I heard the dogs going towards him then he shot. I called him to see what he got and he told me that it was a 4-point. A few minutes later, he asked how to e-tag it. As I was talking on the phone with him and explaining how to e-tag it, I saw a buck trotting through the swamp. I told him a buck was coming towards me and hung up. The buck stepped out broadside and I dropped him in his tracks. I got a 6-point with a .30-06 and my dad got his 4-point with his SKS.”
