“Allie Mena begged to go hunting on her 13th birthday so she could hopefully harvest her first deer and show her older brother that she could do it. On Dec. 10, 2025, we headed out for an afternoon hunt with 70 degree temperatures. I was not expecting much but it was her birthday and she wanted to go. The hunt turned into one that we both will never forget. Just minutes before the hunt was going to end her birthday deer stepped out into the shooting lane. She put a great shot on the 4-point buck at 75 yards with the same Browning 270 that her brother shot his first deer with. Best birthday present ever.”
