I bought the boat and motor in 2008.  Had trouble with it stalling out and no one could fix it. So I write Mercury (I have the correspondence) and they sent one of their top mechanics from Wisconsin. He changed everything imaginable to fix the problem, but he did not.

Kept having problems and brought it numerous places in Lafayette, La but to no avail.  They always fixed something related to the fuel. When the problem happened again in early 2019, I decided to get a new Yamaha.

Two months after Greg Stanley put a new Yamaha on the boat it happened again. Greg said, “It isn’t the moter, it is the fuel to the moter”.  He personally fixed the problem and five- and one-half years later, NO PROBLEMS.

So, I have a 115 Opti Max with plenty of unnecessary and new parts changed on it. (Have all the invoices) I have all the necessary connections needed. Priced to move.

I kept it so long because my stepchildren said they were interested in it but changed their minds.
